With the water from the pipette, you can gently stir up the sediment in hard-to-reach places between rocks and roots, and at the same time, immediately suck it away with a hose from the aquarium.

With a bit of practice, it is also suitable for surface siphoning of lighter Japanese substrates.

It can also be connected to this basic siphon, which allows you to use it as a pump for drawing water from the aquarium.

How to use the siphon?

Fill the bulb with water from the aquarium and then by squeezing the bulb, the flow of water will "stir up" the necessary area, which you will then siphon away.

For lighter substrates, we siphon by slightly stirring the surface with the water-filled bulb and then siphoning it away. The siphon remains a few centimeters above the substrate to avoid sucking it in.

Other possible uses: The pipette can be removed from the siphon (it holds quite well) and can be used for more precise dosing of fertilizers.
