Shipping cost is 7 euros.​ For orders over 45 euros,​ shipping and thermal box are free.​

Japonica shrimp are extremely beneficial for any aquarium because they are the best detritus and algae eaters.​ Their larger physical size (up to 5 cm) allows them to consume detritus and algae that most other shrimp,​ snails,​ or small creatures cannot.​ They help clean the bottom even in cases of overfeeding,​ which is often the main cause of uncontrolled algae growth,​ and under certain conditions,​ such as having a sufficient amount of floating plants or decorations near the surface,​ they can also clean the surface of bacterial or greasy films.​

Breeding Japonica shrimp is not demanding,​ but raising them is quite challenging.​ The reason is that their larvae require saltwater to become freshwater shrimp again.​
